Counsellor, Child Therapist, Supervisor, and Trainer

Carley has clinical experience supporting children, young people and adults who have been impacted by significant life changes, chronic stress, trauma, grief, depression and anxiety. Throughout her career she has supported children, young people and their families in a range of settings including education, community-based youth programs and specialist counselling services.

Carley provides child centred and developmentally responsive counselling for children and young people to promote healthy emotional, cognitive and social development. Families work with Carley when they want to support their children to:

  • build their capacity to ‘ride the waves’ of strong emotions
  • increase their self-worth
  • begin to heal after experiencing grief and loss
  • increase coping capacity following significant life changes
  • grow and thrive

Carley offers a compassionate and responsive counselling space built around a safe, respectful therapeutic relationship. Parents and carers play a key role in supporting their child’s counselling process, and this benefits family relationships as they grow and learn together.

Carley provides individual counselling for adults as well as professional supervision services for people working in the community services sector.
