Gillian Stevens

Gillian provides psychological care to adults and young people who are experiencing difficulties in day-to-day living. These may include anything from life transitions to more serious mental health problems. As a board approved supervisor, she supports other practitioners in their clinical work, and assists interns to achieve registration.

Gillian spent many years as an academic, teaching professional and clinical skills to Masters students. She also has over 20 years of clinical experience in government and non-government organisations, and in private practice. She approaches her work with empathy and genuine regard for the autonomy of her clients, in the belief that we all have the capacity to choose how we live our lives, despite the limitations we may encounter.
